Three In For Gingerbreads

By Simon Hayes

Paul Rawden and Russ Cousins have announced their first signings.

24 year old Chris Dawson, has joined The Gingerbreads on a month's loan from Bradford Park Avenue. The attacking midfielder started their season before picking up an injury, which has seen him not getting a regular place in the Avenue side. Chris started his career at Leeds United, appearing in 4 Championship matches. He also have two U21 caps for Wales.

Also joining The Gingerbreads is Jordan Adebayo-Smith. The 18 year old Striker comes on a work experience loan from Lincoln City. This season he has been named on the bench in League Two, appeared in the EFL Trophy and scored a hat-trick in the FA Youth Cup.

And Michael Tweed has joined from Nuneaton Borough. The midfielder started his career on the books of Queens Park Rangers.

Rawden was delighted to get the three in ahead of Tuesday night's Evo-Stik League clash with South Shields "All 3 have experience at a higher level, they all know what they are coming into and are ready for the fight. We played a behind closed doors friendly against Spalding United yesterday, winning 4-1. It's good to get some game time and to be able to see certain players in different roles. We're looking forward to Tuesday night."
