After having the weekend off due to other sides participating in other competitions, the Gingerbreads still find themselves winless since September 29th where they won 3-2 at home to Whitby Town.
The run has seen Town drop to 16th in the table and only three points above the relegation zone.
Before having no game, the last fixture the Gingerbreads played was a 2-0 defeat at home to Warrington Town, after two late goals were enough to consign Grantham to defeat.
Home side Workington have also not fared well this season and currently sit second from bottom having not won any of their past five games.
Workington were in FA Trophy action last Saturday and following a 2-2, they comfortably beat Newcastle Town 5-0 on Tuesday evening at home in the replay. Workington are eight points behind Grantham but they do gave two games in hand on Town.
Grantham boss Richard Thomas has been impressed with the squad's attitude in the build up to the game and believes his side have what it takes to win the game. He said: "We have had a week without a game now and that has given us more time to train and work on fixing the errors that have been costing us.
"This team has lots of potential and it is all about unlocking it. I have seen some excellent things in training and I know this squad is more than capable of getting the three points on Saturday."
Danny Durkin could make his second debut for the side on Saturday after resigning earlier in the week from Deeping Rangers. Defender Charlie Ward - who is the brother of current Grantham player Tom Ward could also make his debut after signing this week.
Tom Batchelor is joined by Tom Ward and Ryan Oliver on the treatment table, Josh Spencer is unavailable however the rest of the squad has no other injury concerns and all are fit to play.
