

Grantham dominated possession throughout but Holbeach fought to the end despite being reduced to 10 men on the half hour when Dan Doughill was dismissed for the use of an elbow.
Grantham had the early pressure but Holbeach created the first real chance when Lewis Leckie burst through but Grantham keeper Kieran Preston was quickly out to block his shot. Grantham continued to press and were rewarded with the opening goal on 24 minutes when Lee Shaw cut in from the left to fire past Rick Drury in the Holbeach goal.
Holbeach drew level on 37 minutes from the penalty spot after a foul in the box with Lewis Leckie converting. Just when it looked like the teams would go in level at half time Grantham added a second goal from the spot with Andrew Wright scoring after Lee Shaw had been fouled in the box.
Grantham continued to have the majority of the ball in the second half but couldn’t break through the Holbeach defence despite creating a number of chances. Holbeach never gave up and had a chance and Lewis Leckie dragged a chance wide on the hour. Grantham were able to keep control of the rest of the game to move into the draw for the next round.
