Kick off was delayed until 8pm as The Gingerbreads arrived late due to traffic on the A50.
Ian Culverhouse made two changes to the side that started Saturday's opening fixture. Jack McGovern (after getting married) and Ryley Thompson replaced Kegan Everington and Max Watters.
The Gingerbreads started brightly and saw an early penalty claim waved away. Tom Batchelors header from a corner was cleared.

Just after the quarter of a hour mark. Cenk Acar couldn't quite reach a neatly flicked forward pass and Stafford cleared the danger.
On 31 minutes, Aiden Kirby's corner was flicked on by Batchelor but Morgan Penfold couldn't turn the ball in.
Throughout the half Stafford had a number of chances but Tom Ward, Batchelor and The Gingerbreads defence stood firm.
The second half started with The Gingerbreads initially on the front foot. Oli Luto couldn't get his foot round a deep free kick and the ball went over.
Stafford then went on the attack. Getting wide and causing trouble for The Gingerbreads defence.
Max Watters replaced Morgan Penfold.
As the hour mark passed, Stafford took the lead. A long throw into the middle of the pitch want picked up and Louis Briscoe fired a low bouncing shot beyond Louis Jones.
The Gingerbreads though picked up, with Max Watters finding space but also a stern Stafford defence.
It was just 4 minutes later when the score was level.
A long ball was sent up to Max Watters which the Stafford defence couldn't deal with and left Waters 1 on 1 with the keeper, he steadied himself and slotted home.
The game really opened from there with both sides having chances to win the match. Watters had the best as he went down the right side but his shot went desperately just wide of the post.
