

The Gingerbreads were almost ahead within the first minute. Stefan Galinski got his head to a corner but it wasn't to be. 10 minutes late Danny Meadows made the Ashton keeper pull off a wonderful save.
It was on 22 minutes when The Gingerbreads made the breakthrough. Felipe Barcelos found himself in space, got round an Ashton defender and was able to curl the ball into the net.
The Gingerbreads continued to dominate. Luke Shaw clipped a clever corner into the box straight to Danny Meadows but his header was cleared off the line.
Minutes later Ashton were level, their on loan striker Jack Dyche cut his way through The Gingerbreads defence and his shot deflected it's way past Kieran Preston.
Ashton United's Manager was sent to the stands for disgreeing with referees decision not to give them a free kick, even though his assistant had his flag up.
The Gingerbreads, started the second half on the front foot. Within 10 minutes were back infront. Rhys Lewis cleared the ball long and Lee Shaw raced onto it and was able to slot the ball by the outcoming keeper. It was his 20th goal of the season.
Ashton kept on the pressure but couldn't break The Gingebreads defence.
The final whistle was greeted with great jubilation as The Gingerbreads made it another win and a 13th match unbeaten.
