Tom Batchelor was missing from the starting line up, due a pulled hamstring. So Sam Purcicoe lined up alongside Stefan Galinski.
Hednesford had the first chance of the match but it was The Gingerbreads who dominated the opening 20 minutes, with chances falling to Jeremiah Dasaolu, Rhys Lewis and Lee Shaw.
However, just like last week at Halesowen, The Gingerbreads went behind. Dan Brenan got his head onto a corner kick, to make it 0-1.
This week it didn't need Stevo to intervene at half time as by The Gingerbreads were infront.
Lee Shaw attacked down the left and his cross found Danny Meadows who headed home! 1-1
Three minutes later, it was 2-1 Lee Shaw beat the offside trap and was able to slot home.
Danny Meadows saw his long range effort pushed wide as the halftime whistle went.
The second half started with very little threat from Hednesford but the home crowd were wanting a third to relax a little. On 75mins Luke Shaw drove towards the by line, and whipped a ball across and Jeremiah Dasalou fired home! His first for The Gingerbreads on his first start!
4 minutes later it was game over, Danny Meadows put a cross over which the Hednesford keeper spilled onto the cross bar and Lee Shaw was there to head home!
The final 10 minutes were seen out and the final whistle was greeted with great Christmas joy from everyone
