Danny returned to the Gingerbreads in January 2020 after a brief period with Ilkeston. Starting his career at Huddersfield Town, Danny played for Bury, Wrexham, York City, Kilmarnock and Valur, making 97 appearances in English and Scottish league football. Spells with Hyde, Halifax, Torquay and Tamworth followed his return to English football. Danny was with Hednesford Town before joining the Gingerbreads initially at the start of the 2019-20 season.
