The Gingerbreads league campaign kicks off this afternoon when they host Walsall Wood at The Meres.
Both sides were in action in a FA Cup Replay on Tuesday. The Gingerbread winning 4-0 against Sherwood Colliery but Walsall Wood had their match abandoned just after half time due to floodlight failure.
Louis Bland had a host of players unavailable due to injury but those available have given him a headache "I said to the players in the pre-match on Tuesday that they could make my life over the next few days really easy or difficult. and that's exactly what they did.
Leke did everything we asked him to do, after not playing 90 minutes for over a year due to his injury. He has played two in quick succession, he got his goal and was a handful all night on Tuesday.
Max Cook didn't stop running and Lewis Greenfield was superb"
Walsall Wood made a number of high profile signings over the summer after a mid table finish last season. Notably for The Gingerbreads supporters they will recognise striker Kaiman Anderson, in his time at Halesowen where he scored 26 goals in 56 appearances.
