Gingerbreads Visit The Seaside

After the enforced weekend off due to the frozen pitch at The Meres last Saturday, The Gingerbreads head to Bridlington Town this afternoon.

"It was obviously disappointing to have the match last week called off, especially after the buzz of the late equaliser at Stocksbridge. We instead had a really good training session, and that was followed up on Thursday night."

Like The Gingerbreads, Bridlington also saw their match called off last weekend. Last time out they drew 2-2 with Stockton, with former Gingerbread Ali Aydemir getting both goals. He equalised for them and then put them in front before Michael Fowler equalised for the league leaders.

At Thursday night's training Ethan Bojang was put through some testing as he makes his way back from the injury picked up at Grimsby Borough back in September "I don't want to give a date of when he will be back, but if he keeps progressing like he is it won't be long."

Bland also confirmed that there are no changes to the squad and no fresh injury worries.

If you're not able to make the trip, updates will be posted across our social media accounts.
