Gingebreds Back At Home

The Gingerbreads play host to Worcester City today at The Meres

Last Saturday Worcester were action in the league, losing 4-1 at home to Quorn. They played for 83 minutes with 10 men after Charlie Wise was sent off for pulling down an attacker in the box.

The Gingerbreads, like City, had no midweek match, and that has given time for Head Coach, Louis Bland time to get on the training pitch

"We've needed the time to get out there and work on various things. I was pleased with the performance at Gainsborough but I want more from us. We've now solely got the league to concentrate on. We need to start picking up points and moving up the table

Worcester have started their season well but have lost their last 3 matches. Two of them in the league against teams at the top of the table."

Sam Muggleton went off at half time injured at Gainsborough, to add to the injuries of Rodrigo and Sidney Pereira.

Updates from the match will be posted across our social media accounts.
