The Gingerbreads head into the Bank Holiday weekend looking for their first league win of the season
On Saturday they travel to Bedworth United before hosting Shepshed Dynamo at The Meres on Bank Holiday Monday.
"Tuesday was positive, but we need to start picking up points" Louis Bland, Head Coach "Throughout the match I felt we showed the right desire and effort, but the second half we got the performance we wanted. We had the best chance of the match but Mason Lee just couldn't get the right contact.
The goal was one of those moments that when things aren't going for you, the other team gets the luck"
Bedworth United like The Gingerbreads have played 3 matches so far, losing two but winning their only home match 2-1 against Rushden & Diamonds. On Tuesday night they lost at Wellingborough Town.
Shepshed have won one, drawn one and lost on. On Tuesday night they conceded a 95th minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw at Rugby Town. Former Gingerbread, Kyle Dixon scoring for Dynamo.
Updates from both matches will be on our X/Twitter account but only for the Shepshed match they will be on Facebook and Instagram.
For any supporters going to each match, we would like to remind you of the statement released yesterday by the Board of Directors
"Following a report that an unidentified person made a racist comment at our recent game against Corby Town the club would like to reiterate that it condemns all racist and homophobic language at its games and are totally committed to stamping out such language.
Action will be taken by the club against anyone found using such language at its games."
