Three New Directors to the Board

Simon Hayes14 May - 17:30

Grantham Town Football Club is proud to announce the appointment

of Giuseppe Vaccaro, Daniel Roberts, and Damian Eite to the Club’s Board of Directors.

This key milestone underscores the Club’s long-term strategy to drive sustainable growth, deepen community engagement, and build success both on and off the pitch.

Each new board member brings a wealth of experience, a deep passion for football, and a shared commitment to strengthening Grantham Town’s impact within the community:

Giuseppe Vaccaro offers a strong background in business development and community outreach, bringing fresh thinking and strategic insight. Giuseppe also serves as treasurer of Grantham Town Youth and coaches the U6s and

Wildcats teams—further bridging the pathway between youth and first-team football.

Daniel Roberts brings leadership and strategic expertise, with a particular focus on finance and infrastructure development, vital to the Club’s ongoing growth.

Damian Eite, a lifelong supporter of the game, adds extensive experience in governance and operational management. His involvement reinforces the Club’s commitment to transparency and robust leadership.

All three have been familiar faces at The Meres over recent seasons and are excited to play a more active role in the Club’s future.

Club Chairman Nick Johnston commented:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Giuseppe, Daniel, and Damian to the board. Their combined knowledge, energy, and vision are exactly what Grantham Town needs as we continue to move forward.
This is an exciting time for the Club. Their appointments show our intent to build strength both on the pitch with Mitch and off the pitch with a capable, forward-thinking board. We’re actively looking to add like-minded local people to the board, who share our passion and want to join us on this journey.
Together with our fantastic team of volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes—and the unwavering support of our brilliant fans—we truly believe the good times can return to the Gingerbreads, step by step.”

Grantham Town FC looks forward to working closely with its new directors to continue building a club that proudly stands at the heart of the local community.
