The Gingerbreads host Nuneaton Borough tomorrow in their latest friendly.

The match has been selected as a "Pay What You Think" admission.

Chairman Nigel Wedgwood said "We're trying it to see what happens, it'll hopefully encourage some to come up and see what we're all about. Pre-season has been good so far"

Tuesday night saw The Gingerbreads host Boston United, the game ended 0-0 and chances were few and far between. "I thought we did really well, the Tom Ward and Rob Atkinson are really striking a good relationship. In the second half we tried something different with Gregg, Craig and Rodrigo together. We could've won it at the end but the keeper has done well to stop Gregg's shot. It was the test that we needed, they brought experience on during the match and we're happy with the night's work."

Looking ahead to tomorrow "We're coming up against a side who are at the same level as us, they had a lot of turmoil last season and are rebuilding too. We've played sides who are both above and below our level so far. I think we've learnt plenty so far but there is still work to do."

Following last week's match with Bourne, some of the squad went to The Priory pub for a game of pool and to get themselves known in the Town "The lads are coming together as a group and the usual changing room banter is building. It's good to see them getting out together. We're part of the community and want people to get to know us out of a match too"
