SCHOOLS INITIATIVE 2010 – 2011 Season

 

Grantham Town Football Club Ltd are seeking to promote to the 7 to 16 year olds the pleasure of supporting their senior local football team. We also desire to see more young people participating in supporting the Club, getting involved and helping to keep the interest growing.

                                          

Under this scheme you and your school are offered free tickets for organised parties of children who must be accompanied by one named adult (adult also free when representing the school) for every eight young people in the party. (Special Schools one named adult entry free to 5 children)

 

Entry will be by ticket only and every member of the party, including the adult must be in possession of a valid ticket issued via the school or the Club organiser and valid for a home league game at the Meres Stadium.

 

Parties assemble in the stadium foyer ‘the designated control area’ and will be escorted into the pre-arranged seated area within the ground by the schools stewards.

 

Entry and exit from this area will be under the control of the adults in conjunction with the steward assigned to each party whose instructions must be followed at all times prior, during and after the match.

 

Each party will be escorted back to ‘the designated area’ after the match from where the school and parents will be responsible for their safe collection. All stewards have been trained in evacuation and safety procedures, all schools stewards have enhanced CRB certificates.

 

Arrangements have been made for a maximum of three schools to send parties to each home match maximum 150 number at any one game. The available games will be published late July on the GTFC website.  www.granthamtownfc.com

(Cup, Shield and Trophy games are not available due to income sharing arrangements with the away teams)

 

The Club retains the right to refuse entry to any person or party subject to an appeal to the Chief Steward and Safety Officer whose decision shall be final.
