We're Giving Away Gingerbread Men!

By Simon Hayes

This year’s Non-League Day falls on Saturday 13th October and The Gingerbreads are at home to Lancaster City.

Non-League Day offers a fantastic opportunity for football fans who would otherwise be attending a Premiership, Championship or Football League match to come along and support their local non-League side whilst their club is on an International Break.

To celebrate, everyone who attends the match, will receive a FREE Hawkens Gingerbread Man.

The Gingerbreads' chairman - Nigel Wedgwood - had the following to say on this year's NLD initiative, “We’ve decided to do something a bit different, and a bit fun for this year’s Non-League Day. Alastair Hawken at The Gingerbread Bakery attended the win against Scarborough earlier in the season and when the suggestion came through and it seemed a perfect fit.”

“We’ve started the season well and want people who haven’t got their normal side to watch, to come and see what we’re all about. Hopefully like they will like what they see and come watch us when they can.”
