Gingerbreads Leap to Second

Adam Stevens men survived 8 minutes of injury time and a fight back from Witton, to take all 3 points on the road.

Jordan Hempenstall opened the scoring on 21 minutes when he rose up to head home Curtis Burrows' cross.

He doubled the lead 11 minutes into the second half. He raced clear of the Wilton defence and fired home under the goal keeper.

The Gingerbreads went 3 up on 75 minutes, when Stefan Galinski head home at the back post.

With 5 minutes left it all became a bit nervy. Wilton pulled one back and then the referee indicated 8 minutes of injury time.

In the 97th minute it was 3-2, The Gingerbreads held our and took all 3 points.

With Warrington losing, The Gingerbreads move up to second place in the Evo-Stik table.
